Uh, oh. Mother’s Day is about 10 days away. You want to buy your mom something cool and different. But what?! Don’t worry. I’ve got your back.
For the makeup maven: Charlotte Tilbury’s Instant Look in a Palette was my top pick to include in my Mother’s Day gift guide. You know I love Charlotte Tilbury, and this palette is perfect. The eye shadows and cheek colors are neutral enough for most skin tones, and go great with Charlotte’s Perfect Pink Kiss set. And these Sephora Tools of the Trade makeup brushes.
For the skin care junkie: Skin Owl has put together two beautiful gift boxes any mom would appreciate. The Grande Beauty Box has a soy candle, eye cream, and a bottle of Skin Owl’s Beauty Drops. You choose the scent of the candle (High Tea, Gardenia, or Currant) and which Beauty Drops you want (Lavender, Geranium, or Clary Sage). I let my mom try my Geranium Beauty Drops, and she loves them!
The Petite Beauty Box has the same choice of candles and Beauty Drops, but no eye cream.
For the perfume fan: The Cocktail Kit from Commodity contains 10 unisex eau de parfum fragrances that you can mix and match to create your signature scent.
For the shoe addict: I love Jack Rogers sandals for summer. How about this beaded turquoise and coral look? And check out the Jack Rogers Mother’s Day Shop for other great ideas. Two words: Baby. Sandals.
I was perusing different web sites looking for gift guide ideas, when I came across these embroidered smoking slippers from a company called Soludos. How fun are these? Click here to see their other designs.
For the mom on the go: How chic is this beach bag from Rosanna? It’ll hold everything she needs. Here are a few more styles to choose from.
For the dog lover: Is your mom’s dog her other baby? Whimsical canine illustrations by pop artist Marc Tetro adorn everything from iPhone cases to makeup bags to umbrellas to stationery. You’ll find just about any dog breed.
For the jewelry fanatic: I loved the Deepa Gurnani jewelry I saw at the Beauty, Baubles, Bevvies, and Boxes event last week. I particularly love the Indra bracelet and the the Marni earrings. Sort of a vintage feel.
What do you want for Mother’s Day? Or do you just want to be left alone to drink wine and binge watch something on Netflix? Let me know in the comments!
