Target is becoming the place to stock up on K-beauty. First the retailer announced that Alicia Yoon of Peach & Lily was curating a 13-piece collection of her K-beauty favorites that launched at Target and online on January 15. (WWD) Then the company announced that 12 products from K-beauty brand Missha would be available in about 750 stores the same day. (WWD) As if we needed another reason to love The Bullseye!
Prima ballerina Alessadra Ferri is fronting No7’s Ready for More campaign, which launched this week in the U.S. Ready for More advertises No7’s new Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum. Ferri came out of retirement in 2013 to continue dancing professionally. “They obviously saw a woman who didn’t buy into the belief that you have to give up your life because you are not 35,” Ferri told Women’s Wear Daily. She went on to say, “Of course we all want to look our best at any age, but it’s fine to live in the present of who you are in the moment.” You go, girl! (WWD)

This year, I’m doing the Eyecandy Project 52 photography challenge. Every week, we have to take a picture inspired by a prompt, such as From Above. Some prompts are relevant to the time of year, some are more evergreen. I’m thinking I’ll post my more successful efforts here about once a quarter. Wish me luck!
