In this week’s Fabulous Links, Revlon renews its commitment to love, Juice Beauty launches a new spray-on peel, and Estee Lauder launches its new Bronze Goddess collection for 2017. Let’s do this!
This week, Revlon launched its ambitious new marketing campaign, The Love Project. The campaign features the likes of Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, and Ellen DeGeneres. Revlon execs told WWD the goal of The Love Project is to get people to express what love means to them. “At the heart of this campaign is the belief that all people are beautiful and that love can create a better world,” said Carlos Barreto, Revlon senior VP of marketing. The Love Project web site, theloveproject2017.com, went live during the Oscars. On the site, you can upload a picture or take a new one, fill in the form with the three words that best express what love means to you, and share it to your social media accounts. You can also shop on Amazon, and your purchase will come in a box with the Revlon logo. You can write your three words on the box, and share a picture of it on social. Check it out and spread the love! I did! (WWD)

Apparently Juice Beauty’s new Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray will actually cause dead skin cells to pill then peel off your face. I think I know what product I want to try next. If I do, I’ll do a post with pics! (Allure)
Estee Lauder’s Bronze Goddess Collection just dropped, and it has a few new additions for 2017. I’m dying to try the sea salt body scrub and two new lipsticks. The Lip Glow lipsticks come in a new-to-the-brand sheer formula. And once again, Estee Lauder has tapped 42-year-old supermodel Carolyn Murphy as the face of the line! (Allure)
This week on the blog, I shared some pics from my dusk photo shoot and, unfortunately, gave OPI Infinite Shine a less than stellar review.
This year, I’m doing the Eyecandy Project 52 photography challenge. Every week, we have to take a picture inspired by a prompt, such as From Above. Some prompts are relevant to the time of year, some are more evergreen. I’m thinking I’ll post my more successful efforts here about once a quarter. Wish me luck!
