I didn’t expect to fall in love with beauty writing. It just sort of happened. I’m the person who didn’t wear eye shadow until she was north of 30. Needless to say, my quest to be Fabulous Forever was off to a shaky start.
But then I lost my job as a biotech and pharma writer to the recession, and about a year later, I answered an ad on Craigslist for a beauty writer. I thought, what the hey?
I covered beauty news for Daily Glow, now EverydayHealth Beauty, for three years. I had an absolute blast! The project ended in December 2013, and I missed it so much, I decided to start my own beauty blog.
I’ve decided to focus on the beauty and skincare concerns of women over 40, since I am now <cough!> of a certain age <cough!>. I’m a big believer that women can be beautiful at any age, and that true beauty radiates from within. But we all need to take care of our skin, and a little makeup can give us an extra boost of confidence when we need it. Why not be Fabulous Forever?
