These were in my goody bag at #wwdstyledimension last week.

Welcome to the week! I wanted to share a few things that have caught my eye recently. Let’s get through Monday together.

First of all, I love that at age 54, Viola Davis is the new face of L’Oreal. Let Davis and other brand ambassadors like Helen Mirren inspire us to take care of ourselves and live our best lives. Let’s take risks. We’re over 40. Not dead. (Allure)

This is kind of cool. Does anyone out there get a Boden catalog? I do sometimes. This English company has just released a coat collection inspired by famous women like the novelists Jane Austen and Emily Bronte. I’m loving the red coat with the leopard collar. Boden is available here in the US. (Fashion Network)

And Christian Siriano has done a capsule collection for J.Jill. I like this green dress. The collection is now available here and in stores. (WWD)

Finally, I saw a piece in the New York Times a few weeks ago about how women are doing their makeup in a bathroom at the Port Authority. I think a road trip to see for myself may be in order. (New York Times)

Oh, and last week I went to a WWD NYFW event called Style Dimension. It was a talk with Orion Nevel and Karolina Kurkova about their wellness brand Gryph & Ivy Rose. Attendees got these yummy chocolate hearts with gut-healthy probiotics in their goody bags (see photo above). I also can’t wait to try the body oil we got! The brand was created with children in mind, but it’s great for the whole family! Check it out here!
